Community Supported Agriculture is a direct partnership between you and the farmer. This model allows consumers to know where their food is coming from, who’s growing it, and how it is grown! At Raisin’ Roots Farm we use heirloom and organic varieties grown in our carefully amended soil. We use companion planting among crops and varieties to maintain a diverse ecosystem full of beneficial insects. This makes it possible for our produce to remain pesticide free as one of our main growing principles. You can expect to find over 30 crops in your share throughout the year, with many different shaped, colored, and sized varieties among each!
2017 CSA Share: $450 for the 2016 growing season which includes a weekly box from late May through October. In early June, your share would include spring onions, radish, spinach, lettuce, and beets. Later in the season you can expect potatoes, squash, carrots, tomatoes, basil, cucumbers among many other crops and varieties! Pick up at the farm located at Taft Hill & Vine or at the Larimer County Farmers Market on Saturday mornings in Old Town at Mountain & Howes.
Shares must be paid in full upon first week’s pickup. We can also work out a flexible payment plan option on an individual basis as needed. Feel free to contact us with any questions at RaisinRoots@gmail.com or by phone at (443) 863-0677.
